丽贝卡·贝利，医学博士 is the 项目负责人 for the Pulmonary/Critical Care medicine fellowship program.  Dr. Bailey attended Wake Forest University Bowman Gray School of Medicine then went on to complete her residency at Youngstown Hospital Association.  Dr. Bailey completed her Pulmonary Medicine 研究员hip at Cleveland Metro Health. From 1984 to October 2020, Dr. Bailey worked for a few different Medical Centers before coming to Guthrie Robert Packard Hospital in November 2020.  这是博士. Bailey’s first years as 项目负责人 here at Guthrie but comes with about 11 years of knowledge and background as 项目负责人 and 项目助理总监 of Internal Medicine at Northside Medical Center.

Faraz Siddiqui，医学博士 is the 项目助理总监 for the Pulmonary/ Critical Care medicine fellowship. Dr. Siddiqui attended college in Pakistan and graduated from DOW Medical College.  From there he completed his residency at the 状态n Island University Hospital in NYC where he also completed his fellowship program for Pulmonary/ Critical Care medicine.  Dr. Siddiqui has been an integral part of the Pulmonary/Critical Care team at Guthrie for many years.  He works with the fellows to prepare them for the Pulmonary Boards as well as the Critical Care boards.  Dr. Siddiqui has a wife and 2 children.  In his free time he is assisting with his children so his wife can attend medical school.

My career has been in the field of Human 服务, specifically working with individuals with intellectual disabilities, elderly and traumatic brain injuries. After 25+ years I felt it was time for a change for my wellbeing and my family supported me in that. The last 2-3 years of my parents’ life (they passed in 2020), I spent a lot of time in Guthrie Corning as well as Guthrie Sayre because of their declining health. Every Guthrie employee I ever encountered was very caring, professional and worked as a team to provide my parents with the best care possible. I always thought to myself, “what a great group of people. 我很想在那里工作.” When I made the decision to make a career change, I looked to Guthrie and was so excited when I was hired as the 项目协调人 for the GI and PCCM 研究员hips. One of the best life choices I have made.

What do I like to do in my free time? Family is the most important thing to me, so spending time together is my favorite pastime, especially with my grand babies. I also like to sew, cricut, paint, cook from scratch, bake and help other people.

Katie Alsheimer, DO 从纽约州布法罗来找我们. She completed medical school at Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine then went to residency at the University at Buffalo - Catholic Health for Internal Medicine.  Dr. Alsheimer appreciates interventional pulmonary medicine as well as pulmonary arterial hypertension. 工作以外博士. Alsheimer enjoys Broadway shows, 运行, yoga, 徒步旅行, and kayaking.


 

乔纳森 , DO traveled to us from Delphos, OH.  Dr. Burgei graduated from Xavier University where he remains a huge basketball fan.  大学毕业后，. Burgei attended 俄亥俄州 University Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine and then moved on to Summa Health Akron 城市 Hospital for his residency.  Dr. Burgei was drawn to pulmonary critical care because he enjoys working in a multidisciplinary team to help tackle complex patient care. He feels it is very rewarding to help patients and their loved ones through a difficult time in their life. He also enjoys learning all the physiology and the procedures that come with the specialty!  When he needs a break he enjoys traveling, 运行, 徒步旅行, playing volleyball and watching Xavier basketball.
